Art therapy provides an opportunity to express emotions through colours or symbols. The art process fosters mind-body-relation by working with visual and tactile art materials, which stimulates the building of new neural connections.

Artistic self-expression
While a person creates, they take a main acting role, which enables them to actively work on themselves or on a problematic situation by changing, redrawing, inventing or creating something new.
Personal development
Art develops creative thinking and the search for individual solutions and paths, it is a way of self-awareness and manages to bring out unsuspected possibilities or qualities of us that for one reason or another are blocked or we have failed to develop.
